All the weddings that we play at are very special to us and we like to treat them like family weddings, doing as much as possible to help create memorable moments and make the day an amazing experience for the bride and groom and the important guests. Though this wedding was one that was highlighted in bold and underscored in our diary as one of our most anticipated events this year.
You may know Preeti from ‘Preeti Catering’ the successful events hospitality and catering company which her father named after her. On the 1st November 2014 it was her turn to play bride when she celebrated her marriage with Sanjay. Having the pick of a myriad of amazingly talented dhol players and musicians, it was an honour (and a healthy amount of pressure) for us to perform at their wedding reception that took place at the stunning venue, 8 Northumberland.
Doing what we do, we have the privilege of spending time with the bride and groom just before they make their grand entrance in to the most important event of their lives; a gathering with their loved ones, friends and family. It is such an amazing experience to witness: unconditional love between two people and a mixture of incredible excitement, sincere happiness and a touch of unsettled nerves. It is a blessing to perform on and be a part of the most important day of someone’s life and such a task comes with great responsibility.
Sanjay and Preeti looked as incredible as each other. During grand entrance, the dhols echoed around the beautifully decorated room as the guests clapped and cheered in celebration – the kind of audience that we love!
Hosted by Jags Klimax, spinning his magic and sharing his charisma

…its safe to say they had all bases covered!
Congratulations Sanjay and Preeti J
