I think we are going to get a bit of a reputation for ourselves as “The drummers who woke us up early on a Sunday morning”. This is because we met Navin at his house in Norwood Green yesterday morning and woke up his neighbourhood to let them know that this handsome young man is no longer available to any other ladies that may have their eye on him! We went on to escort the bharaat upto ย the entrance of Alice Way Gurdwara in Hounslow, although we may have created a bit of traffic there was lots of dancing and smiling for the cameras as we led the procession.
The couple held their reception at the splendid Savill Court Hotel, Windsor. This is a perfect wedding venue which is down to the breathtaking scenery and beautifully manicured gardens that this resort is set in. The ‘Grand Entrance’ included the DD Bagpiper, which is becoming a popular choice. As we entered the ‘Great Hall”, we circled the perimeter of the dancefloor upto the cake table. The sound of the pipes and drums was fantastic due to the high dome shaped ceiling in this room, which meant the sound echoed to every corner of the room. The delicious food and decor was provided a Preeti Catering who always do a fabulous job of ensuring the wedding runs smoothly. While guests enjoyed their food they also had a chance to have photos taken and printed on the spot at a booth setup by Big Day Photography.
The coupled enjoyed their first dance together, after which they were joined by other couples for another slow dance…very romantic! Once the party got underway, we performed for the second time and the dancefloor was now kicking. Kudos Music did a fantastic job of entertaining the crowd all the way into the early part of the evening. This was a great day for DD!
