Its not every weekend that you get a call to perform 8000 miles away at an exotic destination wedding. The wedding of Neel and Gammy was something that was a truly remarkable experience. It was a fairy tale wedding for a beautiful couple of two loving families with a plethora of entertainment organised down to the finest detail by Indonesiaโs leading events planners, Innaz Communique.
We had the pleasure performing a long side some of the worldโs best in music and dance entertainment like the world renowned singer Satinder Sartaaj, the masters in Bollywood Dance, BFunk and superstar DJ Shadow.
The bride and groom entrance was extra special for this event. The preparation involved working closely with Neel and Gammy to create their very own entrance song. We took the foundation of Ed Sheeranโs โShape of Youโ and remixed it in to a cinematic music piece with an emotional intro building to an epic climax during which time the bride and groom walked in like Hollywood superstars. As a result, we had guests approaching us sharing what while they have been to dozens of weddings and seen numerous entrances, they had never experienced an entrance like this. Gammyโs father approached us with watery eyes, saying that he โtranscendedโ in those 5 minutes.
It really was the ultimate musical score for this memorable destination wedding. See you again soon beautiful Bali!
